Garrut 100% red wine from the Mas de la Creu winery, Organic Viticulture, vintage 2021 with Conca de Barberà Designation of Origin
This wine is made with native Garrut grapes from a pre-phylloxera vineyard over 100 years old. Since the beginning, one of the winery’s main projects has been to recover and preserve this genetic rarity to produce a truly unique wine.
This is a limited edition of 996 bottles due to the low yield of the plants due to the age of the vines. A unique wine, made only in the years that the winemaker considers ideal for obtaining excellent results.
A rhapsody of perfumes reaches our nose in the form of blackcurrant, clove, balsamic and toasted notes that evolve towards coffee and cocoa, still leaving room for the minerals, the undergrowth to manifest themselves…
On the palate, the wine opens up in all its magnificence, with great intensity and an absolutely balanced and contained power. Ripe and sweet at the start, dense and velvety mid-palate and firm and extended finish.
